‣ Organisatsioon, mis annab võrgu kasutajaile infohalduse, tehnilise toe ja võrguhalduse teenuseid.
Märkus:
▫NIC-keskused moodustavad hierarhia.
▫Üks konkreetne NIC-keskus nimega „Internetwork information center„ ehk „Internic„ on organ, mis kinnistab Internetiga ühendatud võrkudele võrgu numbreid.

Märkus:
▫The NICs form a hierarchy.
▫A specific NIC, designated as the „Internetwork information center„ or „Internic„, is the authority which assigns the network numbers to the networks connected to Internet.
